Bike rodeo teaches kids safety

September 22, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

Members of the Belington Police Department sponsored a bike rodeo recently to teach kids bike safety and laws. Stations were set up to perform general bicycle repairs and to inspect helmets.

Belington patrolman Josh Hymes led the student on a ride through town.

Winners of three new bicycles were Belington residents Brandon Hornick, Lacey Harlan and Haley Flint. Flint gave her old bicycle to a girl who did not own a bicycle of her own.
