Voters can help make this country good again

September 22, 2012

Editor:

I am pleading with local residents to get out and vote this November. We in West Virginia have a good chance to help change the happenings in Washington.

This country, the greatest one on earth, is on a very slippery slope nearing the end. The present administration has given away our money, our honor and prestige, and what have we gained from the giveaway?

The White House says we are better off today than four years ago. I strongly disagree with that. Everything we buy has gone up - living costs, energy costs - and there is no solution in sight.

The voters have to unite and help straighten this situation out. Republicans, Democrats and independents have to come to the same conclusion and vote to restore this country.

We have been great before, and we can be even greater if we can restore the respect we once had in the world.

We are not a people to bow down to our enemies and plead for their respect. We should say what we mean and mean what we say. Tell it like it is.

Vote this November.
