Because of a recent traffic accident at the intersection of 11th Street and South Davis Avenue, some street lights in that area of Elkins still are not working, city officials announced Friday.
The West Virginia Division of Highways maintains 11th Street, and it still is working on repairs for the street lights. Elkins officials hope the repairs can be made before the Mountain State Forest Festival begins; however, they said it is not in their control.
