Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a downtown Elkins pizza shop at gunpoint Saturday night.
The Elkins Police Department responded to a robbery call from Papa John's on Davis Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Initial reports indicate the suspect, who still is at large, was armed with a nickel-plated handgun.
No one was injured and no money was taken, a Papa John's employee said early Sunday morning.
