WVU?student named princess

Emma Daniels Post of Belington has been chosen as a princess in the 76th Mountain State Forest Festival by Delegate Mary Poling, D-Barbour.

Post is the daughter of H. Moke and Mary Post of Belington, and the granddaughter of Margaret Oney of Elkins.

She graduated from Philip Barbour High School in 2011. Post was a member of the National Honor Society. She received the PROMISE scholarship and Presidential Scholarship from West Virginia University.

She presently attends WVU and is majoring in international studies with a minor in political science. She hopes to work in the government upon graduation. She is a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity and is on the dean's list.

Post will join other members of the Forest Festival's royal court during coronation ceremonies this Friday at the campus of Davis & Elkins College.
