Brooke and Derek Dennis of Valley Bend announce the birth of a daughter, born July 5, 2012, in St. Joseph's Hospital of Buckhannon. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and has been named Avalon Leona Dennis. Maternal grandparents are David and Gail Phares. Paternal grandparents are Tim and Lisa Dennis.
