Hospital Association elects officers

Six hospital officials installed as group leaders

The West Virginia Hospital Association, representing 65 acute care and specialty hospitals and health systems in West Virginia, recently elected new officers and appointed trustees for 2012-2013.

Officers include: chair: Doug Bentz, CEO, Roane General Hospital, Spencer; chair-elect: Mike King, FACHE, president and CEO, Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg; treasurer: Sue Johnson-Phillippe, FACHE, president and CEO, St. Joseph's Hospital, Buckhannon; immediate past chair: David Ramsey, president and CEO, CAMC Health System, Charleston; and secretary: Joseph Letnaunchyn, president and CEO, West Virginia Hospital Association, Charleston.

The WVHA, an association for hospitals and health systems, is a not-for-profit statewide organization representing 65 acute and specialty hospitals and health systems across the continuum of care.

The WVHA supports its members in achieving a strong, healthy West Virginia by providing leadership in healthcare advocacy, education, information and technical assistance, and by being a catalyst for effective change through collaboration, consensus building, and a focus on desired outcomes.
