Comprehensive blood testing at a dramatically reduce cost is available to the community, courtesy of Broaddus Hospital and the sponsoring Barbour County Chamber of Commerce.

The public is encouraged to take advantage of these special rates any time between 7 and 10 a.m. in the Broaddus Hospital lobby Saturday. Ample parking is available.

Fasting for eight hours prior to the testing is required.

Clients are offered a comprehensive blood profile for $35, while the cost of a PSA or prostatic specific antigen test for prostate screening is $20. The thyroid stimulating hormone or TSH test is $15.
