Diana Crickard brings more than 10 years of experience as a nursing home administrator with her as she prepares to help lead members of Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center's staff as the new assistant administrator.
"When I came through the doors of Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, it was like being home. I instantly had that warm and fuzzy feeling," Crickard said in a news release.
"It is evident that ERCC is providing each resident with open, friendly and personalized care," Crickard said. "I am excited about being able to make a difference in someone's world every day - whether that be a fellow staff member, a resident or a family member."
ERCC is a short- and long-term skilled and intermediate care facility specializing in inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
Crickard comes to ERCC from the Golden Living Center in Morgantown, where she served as executive director.
It was Crickard's experience with health care management and team-building that helped her stand apart from other candidates, said Denise Campbell, administrator at ERCC.
Campbell said Crickard will "bring an added energy to the staff to help continue ERCC's long tradition of excellent care."
Campbell said, "Diana is a very friendly, kind and knowledgeable individual, and her years of experience in long-term care along with her strong leadership and organization skills will make her a great addition to our team."
