Robert Lee "Bobby" Corbin, 56, a resident of Belington, departed this life at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at his residence. He had been in declining health for quite some time.
He was born Aug. 1, 1956, at Belington, a foster son of the late Bradford E. Talbott and Ruth V. Biller Talbott.
He is survived by a most recent caregiver and sister-in-law, Betty Talbott of Belington; a special friend, Frank Thorne; one brother, Junior Biller of Belington; nieces Tena Howell, Twila Biller, Paula Williams and Shelia Reed; nephews, Brian Williams, Junior Talbott and Terry Talbott; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James "Tommy" Talbott; and one nephew, Michael L. Talbott.
Bobby loved to attend the life skills of Appalachian Mental Health, riding 4-wheelers and especially listening to Elvis Presley.
Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, and again Thursday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dennis Estes officiating. Interment will follow in Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington.
