A senior at Elkins High School plans to host a candlelight vigil in observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which is October.
Emily McAtee has organized the event as part of her senior project. The vigil is set to take place at 7 p.m. today at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Beverly. The public is invited to attend.
