Friday's Elkins High School football contest against Lewis County, which had been slated as a home game for the Tigers, has been moved because of weather and field conditions. It now will be played at 7:30 p.m. on the Minutemen's home field.
In addition, some EHS fans are organizing a special send-off for the team. They are asking community members to converge at 4 p.m. at Wimer Stadium in Elkins to show support as the team bus pulls out around 4:30 p.m. After that, anyone interested may follow the bus to Lewis County as part of a Tigers pride convoy.
