David Wayne Coleman, 49, of Route 4, Buckhannon, the Swamp Run community, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon.
He was born Nov. 12, 1962, at Pikeville, Ky.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Harold Sr. and Norma Jean Fortney Coleman; and three brothers, James H. Coleman Jr., Randall Coleman and Mark Anthony Coleman.
David is survived by his wife, Pam Stamm Coleman; four children, Tamieka Unger, Chad Thomas Coleman and Jennifer Stamm, all of Buckhannon, and Cassandra Thomas Millsaps and husband, Bret, of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Coleman and Rick Coleman both of Elyria, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and he was fortunate and blessed to have two dear friends, Charles Bevins and Chris Cochran.
He had worked as a tow motor driver for Ridgid Tools in Elyria, Ohio. David loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons four-wheeling.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon. There will be a private family service conducted at a later time.
