No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident involving a Randolph County school bus Friday afternoon, officials said.

Emergency crews respond to a two-vehicle accident on the Beverly Five-lane at approximately 3 p.m. Friday involving a Randolph County Schools bus and a white Pontiac Grand Am. Randolph County EMS, Elkins Volunteer Fire Department and the Randolph County Emergency Squad responded to the scene.
A special needs student bus was struck from behind by a car at about 3 p.m. near the entrance to the Elkins Walmart, Randolph County Assistant Superintendent of Schools Terry George said Friday.
"There were three students, an aide and the driver on the bus at the time," George said.
"The bus was stopped when it was hit from behind.
"No students had to be transported. All were released to their parents," he said.
The incident was investigated by the Randolph County Sheriff's Department. No further information was available at presstime.
"Everything was handled very well by the authorities," George said.
The Elkins Fire Department and the Randolph County Emergency Squad responded to the scene.
