An elderly Barbour County woman returned home safely Sunday morning after the Barbour County Sheriff's Department issued a Silver Alert to determine her whereabouts.
Betty Golden, 80, of the Fishers Mill area, was considered a missing person as of 10 p.m. Saturday night, according to a representative from the Barbour County 911 Center.
The sheriff's department canceled the Silver Alert for Golden, who suffers from dementia, after she returned home, officials said.
