West Virginia Wesleyan's remarkable postseason run came to an end Sunday afternoon as the Lady Bobcats fell to West Chester 1-0 in the second round of the NCAA regionals.

The loss came after Wesleyan had produced three consecutive playoff wins, two in the WVIAC Tournament and a 2-0 dismantling of nationally-ranked Gannon squad in the opening round.

West Chester's Dana Hun scored the only goal in the contest, knocking a score of the unassisted variety at the 22:06 mark of the first half of play.

Wesleyan materialized a few opportunities, but could never provide the equalizer. The Lady Rams led in shots on goal 6-2, and in corner kicks 5-4.

Wesleyan goalkeeper Lauren Duncan closed her strong season by collecting five saves, while West Chester keeper Shannon Fedyk had two.
