Brass Quintet announces its new schedule

The West Virginia Brass Quintet announces its upcoming 2012 holiday performance schedule.

The WVBQ is based in north-central West Virginia. Quintet members are Adam Loudin and Andrew Scott of Buckhannon; Dave Dayton of Waynesburg, Pa.; Brion Plitnik of Frostburg, Md.; and John Schooley of Fairmont.

- Choral Society concert at 7 p.m., Dec. 1 at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

- Christmas service music at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 2 at First Methodist Church in Buckhannon.

- Christmas service music at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 9 at First Presbyterian Church in Cumberland, Md.

- Commencement Ceremony at 7 p.m., Dec. 14 at West Virginia University-Parkersburg.

- Ceremony of Lessons and Carols at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 16 at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh.

- Christmas church service at 10 a.m., Dec. 23 at Calvary Temple in Worthington.

- Four concert appearances throughout the day Dec. 24-25 at Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs for hotel guests.
