Adaland Mansion will offer its first holiday buffet of the season Wednesday.
"Lots of us connect special foods with holidays, and Adaland is no different. Our staff and volunteers are eager to share with you delicious dinners and teas during the 2012 holiday season that opened its doors at Adaland Mansion in early November," said Ann Serafin, Adaland Mansion executive director.
A mid-week holiday high tea is slated for Wednesday at 2 p.m. This high tea will be served amidst Adaland's double parlor's festive Christmas decorations and includes four courses of traditional tea foods, plus Adaland's own version of some of these finger foods. Scones, fruits, tarts, savories, tea sandwiches, cookies, Adaland trifle, a variety of hot teas and Adaland's signature chocolates are Adaland's version of this traditional English afternoon social event.
