Luther Siler III, 64, husband of Diana Siler, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, in Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 16, 1948, at Welch, Luther was the son of the late Luther Siler Jr. and Dorothy Cook Siler.
He was a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, where he was a founding member of Rho Epsilon Beta Fraternity, an U.S. Air Force veteran and retired in 1987 as a director for the Island Creek Coal Co. Luther was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he dedicated his life to his family.

Along with his wife Diana, he is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Tapia of Lexington, Ky., and Katherine (Patrick) Rupinen of Frankfort, Ky.; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Allison and Alexander Tapia of Lexington, Ky., and Patrick and Molly Rupinen of Frankfort, Ky.
Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Kerr Brothers - Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, Ky., by Deacon Mike Rupinen. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
