Max Kenyi fired in 23 points and pulled down seven rebounds as Seton Hill used a late second-half run to get past Davis & Elkins 70-65 Thursday in West Virginia Conference action at the McDonnell Center.
Before the game began, a moment of silence for Senator assistant coach Roy Simms was observed. Simms passed away Nov. 17 after collapsing in practice.
The Griffins trailed 60-54 with 2:30 left in the contest before going on a 16-5 run to pull out the victory.

Kenyi had nine points in the last 3:00 to help spearhead the run by the visitors.
"Max came up big down the stretch for us tonight," Seton Hill coach Tony Morocco said. "We got lucky and pulled out a victory, Davis & Elkins really played well tonight and they are a good team that is well-coached."
Seton Hill (2-2, 1-1 WVIAC) led 31-26 at halftime and extended its lead to 37-30 on a Malachi Leonard jumper with 17:10 left in the contest.
D&E wouldn't go away, however, as it went on an 8-0 run over the next 2:00 to take a 38-37 lead on a D'Quan Lynch three-pointer with 15:07 left in the game.
Seton Hill went on a mini run to take the lead back at 41-40 on a Kameron Taylor jumper with 13:18 left in regulation.
D&E answered back on a 19-9 burst to build a 59-52 lead with 2:54 left in the game.
Lenjo Kilo added 15 points and nine rebounds, while Taylor finished with 11 points for the Griffins.
David Windsor chipped in with eight points and pulled down six rebounds, while Leonard followed with six points and seven rebounds. Lynch finished with a game-high 32 points, six rebounds and five assists for D&E.
Devin Miller added eight points and five rebounds for the Senators.
"I?thought in the first half we came out flat," Morocco said. "They really played us well in the first half, but we made some adjustments at halftime and played a lot better. I?thought our defense was a big part in our victory."
Seton Hill will host Ohio Valley at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
D&E will entertain Pitt-Johnstown at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be dedicated to Simms, and a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at Harper-McNeeley Auditorium. Friends and family will later gather at Halliehurst for a Celebration of Roy's Life
