Charles and Barbara Watts celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently with a weekend at Stonewall Resourt. Their five children and their spouses joined in the joyous occasion, which included a limousine ride to the Wonder Bar Steakhouse in Clarksburg for a Saturday night dinner.
They were married Nov. 29, 1952, in Winchester, Va., with the Rev. Edger Hill performing the ceremony at the Methodist church. Mrs. Watt's best friend, Alice Newman, attended as witness.
The Watts, who live at 22 Marion St., Buckhannon, have a daughter, Diane Tuggle of Hinkleville; and four sons, David and Douglas, both of Richmond, Va.; Charles Jr. of Lynchburg, Va.; and Daniel of Bridgeport.
