Billy attended Tygarts Valley High School in Randolph County and volunteered at Tyrand Cooperative Ministries for Belinda Toms in Mill Creek for several years and was there everyday. During his time at the Tyrand Cooperative Ministries, Billy received volunteer of the year and the Noah's Ark thrift store award various times. He also helped the elderly ladies at the church and could be seen on several occasions pushing one of the ladies to church in her wheel chair. He loved Christian music and never met a stranger. He loved to make people laugh, and he always entertained everyone with his amazing voice impersonations. He was our Santa Claus at Christmas time and enjoyed passing out gifts and made sure his special needs nephew was involved. He will be truly missed and loved by all. He spent his life devoted to God and helping others.
