Virginia Ann Riggleman Stalnaker, 89, a resident of Montgomery, Texas, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 4, 2012, in Conroe Regional Hospital at Conroe, Texas.
She was born Dec. 14, 1922, at Monterville, a daughter of the late Calvin Cecil Riggleman and the late Lettie Effie Hogan Riggleman.
On March 28, 1946, at Elkins, she was married to Virgil Lambert Stalnaker, who preceded her in death April 28, 1995.
She is survived by one son, James Andrew Stalnaker and wife, Patty, of Fairport, N.Y.; and one daughter, Barbara Ann Stalnaker Lundeen of Montgomery, Texas. One brother, Newton F. Riggleman of Beverly; one brother-in-law, Charles Lewis of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, George E. Riggleman; one sister, Janet Lewis; and her son-in-law, John Lundeen.
Mrs Stalnaker attended the schools of Randolph County and worked for many years for Snyder Manufacturing Co. prior to her retirement. She was a Protestant by faith.

Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Leon Brown officiating. Interment will follow in American Legion's Little Arlington Cemetery near Elkins.
