Neither rain, wind nor lack of electricity caused by the Derecho could hold back the joy shared in the marriage of Hannah Beth Wilkins and Jon "Jay" Parrack III on June 30. The wedding took place at The Bear Paw Lodge in the Canaan Valley Resort. Pastor Sam Harper performed the ceremony. The music was provided by Sean Sovine on guitar and vocalists Cathy Soenksen and Sarah Compton. The Acolyte was Adam Compton. The wedding was directed by Lorna and Mike Judy.
The bride is the daughter of J.D. and Cindy Wilkins of Riverton and the granddaughter of Jane Wilkins of Riverton, Sue Stevens of Lansing, Mich., and Don and Gloria Stevens of Oklahoma City, Okla.
The bridegroom is the son of Jonny and Tammy Parrack of Point Pleasant and the grandson of Jon and Twilda Parrack of Elkins and Bob Richardson of Campobello, S.C.

The bride wore a Maggy Sottero A-line gown with a gathered band that cut through the beaded bodice and then draped across creating a one-shoulder neckline. She was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride was attended to by her maid of honor and cousin, Stephanie Clone. Her bridesmaids were Olivia Judy, Paige Parrack, Kara Parrack, Toshia Adkins, Holly Raines, Kelsey Toler and Brittany Midkiff. The flowergirls were Abby and Ally Midkiff. The guestbook attendants were Felicia Harper and Jade Adkins.
Ryan Parrack, an uncle of the groom served as the best man. The groomsmen were Christophe Cormier, Tyler Wilkins, Derry Osborn, Jamie Lewis, Anthony Jeffers, Dustin Peayatte and Tanner Sayer.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony, also at The Bear Paw Lodge. The breathtaking flowers were designed and arranged by Regine Cormier. The music was provided by Alan Yokum. Pam Boggs, a friend of the family, baked her famous cheesecake for the couple's wedding cake.
After a sparkler send-off, Hannah and Jay honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. The couple resides in Huntington.
