Gathel Irene Wood, 48, a resident of Indian Trail, N.C., passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Eddie Kyle officiating. Cremation will follow.
