Elkins High FFA donating baskets to nursing homes

The Elkins High School Future Farmers of America are donating poinsettias and fruit baskets to area nursing homes for the Christmas season.

Students in the agriculture classes at Elkins High School have been busy creating beautiful donations for nursing homes for delivery.

Cardboard boxes were covered with colorful Christmas wrapping paper to hold fruit.

Abby Banton fills and wraps baskets that the Elkins High School Future Farmers of America will distribute to area nursing homes.

Students in the class get practice at wrapping fruit and treat baskets as well as the good feeling of helping others.

Deliveries were also made at Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center and Nella's,?Inc. where they were well received by residents and staff.
