The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory in effect until noon today for Southeast Ohio and the Northern half of West Virginia, including Upshur County.
Hazards include pockets of freezing rain especially on bridges. Ice accumulation should be less than a tenth of an inch. Use caution on untreated sidewalks and roadways. Travelers should use caution and allow extra travel time.
