Mary Olive Miller, 89, of Laneville, passed away Dec. 27, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 28, 1922, at Grantsville, Md., a daughter of the late Christian J. and Amanda Miller Yoder.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her husband, Ira S. Miller; three sons, Philip (Rose) Miller of LaGrange, Ind., Jonathan (Michele) Miller of Sarasota, Fla., and David (Susan) Miller of Laneville; four daughters, Mary Lou (Daniel) Edmands of Hagerstown, Md., Debbie (David) Welch of Oakland, Md., Karen Miller of Accident, Md., and Naomi (Sheldon) Martin of Lancaster, Pa.; sister-in-law, Lois Yoder of Harrisonburg, Va.; and 17 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an awesome wife and mother. Some of her hobbies were gardening, sewing, birds and traveling. She and Ira traveled to Romania, and Haiti to do mission work, which was something she had a passion for. Other various travels included a train trip to California, and two trips to Alaska. She attended Red Creek Bethel Church of the Brethren.

Friends will be received Sunday, Dec. 30, at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with the Rev. John Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in Red Creek Bethel Cemetery.
