Virginia Brandon Davis, 99, a resident of Elkins and more recently a resident of Colonial Place for the last three years, departed this life Wednesday evening, Jan. 2, 2013, in Colonial Place.
The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home Sunday, Jan. 6, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley will officiate, and interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery near Philippi.
