Manspeaker recognized

Buckhannon-Upshur grad presented Who’s Who Award

LATROBE, Pa. - Matthew A. Manspeaker, senior computing and information science major of Buckhannon, has been named to the 2012 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founder's Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Nov. 15 in the Archabbey Basilica.

Manspeaker, son of Richard and Charity Manspeaker, is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society, the Knights of Columbus (3rd Degree), is the assistant captain for the ultimate Frisbee club, and is on the Dean's List. He interned at Ethix Systems LLC previously and is now working as a software engineer for Iron Bridge Integration. Manspeaker is a 2009 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School. He is a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Buckhannon.

The Who's Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations.
