Ms. Betty Jean Shirk Cunningham, 71, a resident of Kerens, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md., from complications of pneumonia with family by her side.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, from the funeral home chapel with Michael Courtwright officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery near Whitmer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 S. High St., Morgantown, WV 26501, in memory of Mrs. Cunningham.
