Davis & Elkins too much for Wesleyan, 83-66

D'Quan Lynch had a game-high 24 points to lead Davis & Elkins past Wesleyan 83-66 Thursday in West Virginia Conference action at the McDonnell Center.

Lynch also had eight rebounds and seven assists for the Senators (5-11), who shot 76 percent from the floor in the first half as a team.

Shane Brown followed with 16 points, while Ante Cosic chipped in with 10 points for Davis & Elkins who led 59-26 at halftime.

Devin Miller added nine points and six rebounds, while Brian Dixon and Josh Wamsley had six points each for the Senators.

Nic Hammond had five points, six rebounds and three assists, while Igor Premasunac had five points for the Senators.

Kelsey Williams had 23 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bobcats (8-8).

Chris Dewberry added 18 points, while Soren Dossing chipped in with 11 points for Wesleyan.

Noah Cottrill had six points, while Raymond Warren had four points for the Bobcats.

Davis & Elkins travels to Fairmont State 4 p.m. Saturday for a West Virginia Conference matchup.

Wesleyan visits Pitt-Johnstown 7:30 p.m. on the same day for a West Virginia Conference tilt.

Alderson-Broaddus 71, Seton Hill 57

GREENSBURG (Pa.) - Malcolm Tatum had 13 points to lead Alderson-Broaddus past Seton Hill 71-57 Thursday in West Virginia Conference action.

Roy Brown and Casey Ainslie had 11 points each for the Battlers (11-4), who led 38-29 at halftime.

Adam Kline chipped in with 10 points and 18 rebounds for Alderson-Broadddus.

Kurklin Bohanon had seven points, while Jonathan Ferguson and Richard Lemon had six points each for the Battlers.

Kameron Taylor finished with 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds, while Oliver McGlade had 10 points for the Griffins.

Alderson-Broaddus will host Charleston 7:30 p.m. Monday for a West Virginia Conference matchup.
