BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (AP) — Police in Bluefield say a teenager on a bicycle has been charged with robbing a bank.

WVVA-TV (http://bit.ly/Xd3Ed9) reports 19-year-old Nathaniel Showalter is charged with robbing a First Community Bank branch on June 23.

Bluefield police detective K.L. Adams says Showalter allegedly showed a gun to a teller at the bank's drive-thru window, presented a letter demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Showalter is being held in the Southern Regional Jail, where he has been held since July 6 on unrelated drug charges. Jail records didn't indicate whether Showalter has an attorney.
