The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and Randolph County Development Authority will host the first Randolph County Day at the West Virginia Legislature on March 7.
This is an opportunity for area businesses and Chamber members to travel to the state Capitol to participate in the legislative process, advocate for issues important to the Randolph County business community, and most importantly, feature why Randolph County is a quality destination to live, work and play.
Those willing to be part of Randolph County Day are invited to set up exhibits featuring their business or organization or just attend as an individual to network, become educated on the process, or simply meet with local and state officials.
The Chamber will host lunch, a photo op with local officials, and provide an overview of how to lobby your local representatives with legislative expert Sammy Gray, manager of state affairs for FirstEnergy.
Exhibitors will need to register by Thursday to secure a space. Registration is available by calling the Chamber at 304-636-2717 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is a free event for Chamber members and $35 for non-members to attend. Sponsorship opportunities are available for this event. Chamber members would like to thank FirstEnergy, the Randolph County Housing Authority, and Woodland Development Group for their support of this event.
