The Tygart Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will host its 17th annual Hunting Heritage Super Fund Banquet March 16 at the Beverly Fire Hall.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner to be served at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be catered by Bill Cole.
The National Wild Turkey Federation is a national nonprofit conservation and hunting organization that, along with its members, partners and sponsors, has worked for the conservation of the wild turkey and preservation of hunting heritage. The banquets are hosted by all chapters throughout the state and give the opportunity to meet friends who share a passion for the outdoors, win valuable prizes, enjoy dinner and buy unique items.
The chapter raises money through ticket sales, silent auctions, live auctions and raffles, which have raised more than $306 million since 1985, to uphold hunting traditions and conserving more than 13.9 million acres of wildlife habitat.
Anyone who would like more information on the banquet or becoming a member can call Banquet Chairman Ray Mearns at 304-338-6025. The deadline for early bird raffle tickets is March 9.
