There are still some spaces left in free workshops to be held at Davis Memorial Hospital beginning today.
They are part of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program from Stanford University. They are open to anyone who suffers from any type of chronic condition such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia, etc., or caregivers of those who are struggling with such conditions.
The course will cover lots of tools and techniques to help people feel better, manage symptoms, fight fatigue, make action plans and more.
The workshops will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. weekly on Wednesdays, today through May 8, at the Davis Memorial Hospital Board Room in Elkins.
Please call the Randolph County Health Department at 304-636-0396 to register or for more information.
