4-H Club plans recycling event

April 5, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

The Dorcas 4-H Club of Grant County will again sponsor a community recycling drive for the public to dispose of recyclable material.

The event will be from 3:30 to 7 p.m. April 12 and from 8 a.m. to noon April 13 at the livestock barn at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Petersburg.

Members of the 4-H club will accept newspapers, catalogs, magazines, office paper and junk mail. Also, aluminum cans and hard and softbound books will be taken. The 4-H club can no longer accept glass and plastic bottles for safety and health reasons.

This recycling event is a community service project of the Dorcas 4-H Club. The club's goal is to make the world a little better place by conserving its resources.

For more information, anyone interested can call 304-257-2459.
