Heaston UMC plans revival

The Rev. Gary Trantham recently announced that Heaston United Methodist Church will present a spiritual revival in Hodgesville.

Bishop Sandra Steiner-Ball will open the revival at 7 p.m. April 17, sharing the hope, love and life of Jesus Christ. Steiner-Ball is the Episcopal leader of the United Methodists in the West Virginia area and conference.

Evangelist James Lynch of Nicholas County will join Heaston at 7 p.m. April 18, with an enthusiastic and challenging sermon.

The Rev. Mary Ellen Finegan will close the Spiritual Revival at 7 p.m. by helping people experience God's transforming love through Jesus Christ. Finegan is Heaston's own, serving from 1989 to 1995, and is the district superintendent of the United Methodists in the Wesleyan district. Heaston was established in 1884.
