‘Passing the Torch’ services coming up

A group of pastors and evangelists is scheduled to take part in "Passing the Torch" impartation services, scheduled for April 20 at the Elkins High School Auditorium.

The event is sponsored by Rivers of Living Water Ministries.

Some of the planned speakers include noted evangelist, author and teacher Dr. T. L. Lowery; evangelist and teacher the Rev. Greg Casto; and the Rev. Michael Boggs, pastor of Rivers of Living Water Ministries.

Boggs will kick off the day's events by ministering during the 10 a.m. service, followed by Casto sharing the Gospel at 2 p.m. Lowery will impart from the Word of God and his many years of ministry experience during the 7 p.m. service.

Lowery has spent the last 60-plus years ministering as a pastor, evangelist, teacher and author. He is the founder and CEO of T.L. Lowery Global Foundation, where he continues to lead many to Christ, raise up and mentor leaders within the church and in all things bring glory to God.

Casto has experienced many signs, wonders and miracles as promised by God. He pastored the Spirit Life Church of God in Pasadena, Texas, for two and a half years. He also serves as the Ministries Director of the T. L. Lowery Global Foundation in Cleveland, Tenn., alongside Lowery.

After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in wildlife management, Boggs and his wife Alicia relocated to the Elkins. Rev. Boggs received his master's degree in theology from West Virginia Christian University. In 2006, Boggs founded Rivers of Living Water Ministries, where he currently serves as pastor.
