Old Brick Playhouse to present production of ‘Xanadu’

April 23, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

A special show presented by The Old Brick Playhouse Apprentice group kicks off today and will continue though April 30.

"Xanadu" brings back the 1980s beach scene with mesh T-shirts, parachute pants, roller skates, short shorts, big music and big hair. There will be surfers, body builders, sun bathers, balloon artists and cutting-edge paintings. This play is a mixture of two cultures: ancient Greece and southern California.

"Xanadu" promises an exciting evening for the whole family in this '80s flashback - and cast member Dalton Bobes called it "totally rad!"
