Being compassionate and professional; providing high quality medical equipment promptly; supporting the medical professionals, patients and communities it serves - those have been the goals and business philosophies of Bill Sturgeon and Mark Saber since they launched ALL MED in 1997.
Beginning in Nitro, ALL MED operates in eight locations - Beckley, Bridgeport, Charleston, Huntington, Logan, Princeton, Summersville and now Elkins.
ALL MED, which opened Feb. 13 in Elkins, is located at 712 Beverly Pike Plaza, behind Bob Evans on the Beverly Five-lane. ALL MED Elkins offers a wide variety of home medical equipment, including oxygen and respiratory equipment, sleep therapy, hospital beds and pressure-relieving mattresses, negative-pressure wound therapy, power chairs and scooters, manual wheelchairs, ambulatory aids and bath safety products.

"We are accredited to provide everything from a bedside commode to providing ventilatory support in the patients' homes," Sturgeon said. "We are the only respiratory company that offers portable oxygen concentrators to all of our Medicare patients. The other companies have one unit in their showroom display, but don't offer them to their patients because they are very expensive."
The team at Elkins ALL MED currently consists of four highly experienced members, including a full-time respiratory therapist, Carol Meola; one patient service technician, Jeff Elza; one customer service representative, Debbie Gooden; and one home care account representative, Karen Ours.
Sturgeon said ALL MED decided to open a new location in Elkins because company officials noticed that many patients were traveling miles from Elkins to the company's Bridgeport location.
"We have taken care of patients in Elkins from our Bridgeport store," Sturgeon said. "There are very nice folks here.
"We would like to take this opportunity to promise the Elkins community the same excellent patient care our Patient Support team has been providing for the past 15 years," Sturgeon added. "We look forward to growing and caring for more families and friends in the coming years."
