Adult learners from across the country will be able to enroll in more than 200 online courses this summer offered by West Virginia University's Continuing and Professional Education unit.
Registration is now open for classes that can be used for workforce development or personal enrichment. Courses that are expected to be popular include forensic nursing, law/legal courses, Spanish for medical professionals, digital photography, West Virginia genealogy, introduction to biometrics, start your own edible garden and more.
Several courses also are offered in a classroom setting, including a bonsai workshop and a creative writing workshop.
Discounts on a variety of non-credit courses will be available through June, said Sherry Kuehn, program coordinator of Continuing and Professional Education.
WVU's Continuing and Professional Education is geared to the lifelong learner with registrations open year-round. The current course catalog is available online at continuinged.wvu.edu/summer.
