Youth pastor visits H.A.S.

Students at Highland Adventist School recently enjoyed a week of spiritual emphasis with the Rev. Geoff Starr of Parkersburg.

Starr, a youth pastor serving young people throughout West Virginia and western Maryland, specializes in teaching spiritual lessons through science. The students enjoyed a variety of science activities that illustrated Biblical principles such as Christian kindness, respect for themselves and other people, living according to principle and how important they are to God.

"We are so privileged to be able to share Biblical principles for successful living with our students. It makes a real difference in their lives," said Cheryl Jacko, principal. "We surely enjoyed Pastor Geoff's visit."

Highland Adventist School offers Christian curriculum for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. For more information, anyone interested can visit the school website at www.highlandadventistschool.org.
