Naomi Dawn Queen, 78, of Buckhannon, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at her home while surrounded by her husband and children.
She was born Jan. 2, 1935, at Hodgesville, a daughter of the late Clay and Lucille Westfall Queen.
On Aug. 18, 1955, she married Leo Gene Queen, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Debbie Miller of Buckhannon; one son, Michael Queen and wife, Amy, of Hodgesville; one grandson, Travis Miller and wife, Carrie, of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Leslie Reese and husband, James, of Scotts Depot, Maggie and Grace Queen, both of Hodgesville; one great-granddaughter, Makenzie Egress of Buckhannon; two great-grandsons, Brayden and Owen Reese, both of Scotts Depot; one sister, Mary Lou Dowell of Hodgesville; and two brothers, Fred Queen of Grafton and Basil Queen of Louisville, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, David Wade Queen; and one sister, Nancy Darling.
Mrs. Queen was a homemaker.
Friends will be received Monday, May 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike George and Pastor John Darnall officiating. Burial will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
