Anna Lee Tracy Brevard, 91, joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Paul Lewis, and many family and friends as she went to her heavenly home June 19. Her legacy for those she leaves behind is one of unfailing Godliness; devotion and steadfastness as mother, wife, relative and friend and beloved classroom teacher.

Anna Lee was born May 21, 1922, in Arbovale, the daughter of Dessa Marie Eye and James Claude Tracy.

After earning degrees from Greenville College in Illinois and God's Bible School in Cincinnati as well as a master's degree from Ohio State University, she taught in public schools for 35 years. Her teaching career began in Circleville, but she spent most of her career at schools in Circleville, Ohio, where she and her family lived for many years.

Anna Lee had two siblings, Julian Tracy, who preceded her in death, and Wanda Bell Tacy (Robert) of Circleville, Ohio.

Her husband of 56 years, Paul Lewis Brevard, also preceded her in death in 2002.

Anna Lee is survived by four children, LeAnna Joy Crowley (Roy) of Chickamauga, Ga., Rose Carol Tomlinson (George) of Santa Barbara, Calif., LaDonna Rae Yaussy (David) of Charleston and Jonathan Lewis Brevard of Circleville, Ohio. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, Heather Atkinson (Grady) and Adam Crowley (Lisa); George (Brandy) and Doug (Chris) Tomlinson; Alycia Anthony (Greg) and Ashley Tomlinson; Brandon, Thomas and Cameron Yaussy; and Jessica Brevard; and nine great-grandchildren including Alexis, Ella and Callie Atkinson; Austin, Madeline and Deedy Crowley; Eric and Zachary Anthony; and Lauren Tomlinson-Hall.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, June 22, at 1 p.m. in Arbovale Cemetery in Arbovale. Anna Lee's life will also be celebrated at a memorial service in Circleville, Ohio, at a future date.
