Hot rods, muscle cars, trucks and pick-ups, vintage cars, low riders and others will arrive from around the country to Railroad Avenue and Third Street in Elkins late Friday afternoon, July 5. The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the cruise-in event preceding the Mountain State Steet Machine Car Show will kick off the Fourth of July weekend with hundreds of classic cars on display in downtown Elkins July 5. Entertainment will be provided for spectators and car show participants near the train depot, including a fireworks display that evening.
On Saturday, July 6, the Mountain State Street Machine Car Show will open in the Elkins City Park as hundreds of antique classic cars and hot rods roll in for one of the biggest car shows in the state. The car show will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be vendors, games and entertainment.
