"This is a great group of kids," Elkins manager Chris Broughton said. "Many of them are from the 14-year-old squad that won the state tournament last year.
"They are focused and ready to go."
But he cautioned, "There are seven teams in this tournament and they are all going to be fighting as hard as we are. We'll have to be at the top of our game and be ready."
Broughton will be assisted by Tug Ross and Keith Hopwood, while Brad Schumacher will serve as the team's scorekeeper.
Harrison County won last year's title with a 2-0 win over Logan at Frank Loria Field.
