Literacy Volunteers seeking tutors

July 12, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

The Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County is seeking new tutors for our adult learners.

Because of the rising number of requests, the group needs to increase its pool of tutors. You do not need to be an educator by profession to be an effective tutor. If you are a high school graduate, have a willing heart and an open mind and are available for about two hours each week, contact the Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County about becoming a tutor.

The program is flexible, and it can be adapted to work with most any schedule. Contact Linda Feola, the director of the Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County, at 304-472-2343 or at lvaupco@wirefire.net.
