Montia James Brown Jr., 65, of Cape Coral, Fla., passed away July 24, 2013, in Lee Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 26, 1948, in Webster Springs, a son of the late Montia James Brown Sr. and Dorothy Wilmoth Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Ann Brown.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Anthony Brown; and one brother, Harold Brown.
He is survived by one son, Marty Shayne (Carrie) Brown of Sabraton; two sisters, Melissa Nicole (Bernardo) Maria of Fairport, Ohio, and Stefanie (Joseph) Troyan of Cape Coral, Fla.; one brother, Darrel Brown of West Virginia; and 10 grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Logan, Catelynn, Tristan, Gabriella, Nicholas, Brandon, Savannah and Lilly.
Mr. Brown loved his job working at Painsville Light Plant for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, working on engines, airplanes and traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, July 27 from 1 to 2 p.m. with service hour at 2 p.m. at Dryfork Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating. Interment will follow in Raines Cemetery.
