Lincoln at Philip Barbour

Philip Barbour opened its season by snapping a five- year losing skid against Grafton last week, beating their long-time rivals 52-14.

The Colt defense will need to continue being aggressive against the Cougars today at George Byrer Field.. Philip Barbour had six takeaways, including two interceptions and four fumble recoveries against Grafton. Senior free safety Al Johnson returned one of the picks for a 69-yard touchdown. He also added a 59-yard touchdown on a kick return after the defense scored a safety.

Offensively, senior quarterback Dillon Newman and running back Dylan Johnson both added two touchdowns in Week 1. However, Newman only threw one pass for three yards, so the Colts' aerial attack remains untested.
